The Dutch Association Korea (DAK) was founded on November 12, 2010. The DAK’s first constitution was finalized in September 2012 and recently updated and officially adopted in the DAK meeting of September 7, 2023.
In 2024, the DAK board consists of the president, Jac Damen, the chairman of the DBCK, Andreas Varkevisser, and the chairman of the Dutch Hamel Club, Lubbert-Jan Bos. The current ambassador of the Netherlands in Korea is the honorary president of the DAK.
In 2024, the DAK board will mainly guide the re-establishment of the DBCK and the Hamel Club. It will strive to reinforce its relationship with the Netherlands embassy while coordinating the various activities of the Dutch organizations in Korea.
